The Ford Ranger pick-up was delivered in Europe with a 6000CD radio (M-code) in early models and later the Sony/Visteon radio (V-code). The Ranger T6 facelift (2015+) has exclusively a V-code radio.
Before 2011: M-code via buttons 2+6. From 2011 (T6): V-code via buttons 1+6.
Check the year and model for M-code or V-code
Turn on the ignition — the radio shows "CODE"
For M-code: hold buttons 2+6. For V-code: hold buttons 1+6

Ranger T6 (2011+) always has a V-code
Ranger with SYNC (Wildtrak trim) may not need a separate radio code
