The Espace III had a Renault Carminat navigation or a standard Update List radio. The Espace IV came with an Update List radio or Becker Carminat navigation. Only the standard Update List radio uses the PRE-code method.
Hold buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously for the PRE-code. Only applies to the Update List radio — not Carminat.
Turn on the ignition — the radio shows "CODE"
