The Fiesta Mk5 (before 2004) has an M-code system. From the Mk5 facelift (2004+) and later generations a V-code is used. SYNC systems (Fiesta Mk8) have no separate radio code.
V-code (2004+): hold buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously. M-code (before 2004): hold buttons 2 and 6 simultaneously.
Check the year: before 2004 = M-code, after 2004 = V-code
Turn on the ignition — the radio shows "CODE" or "SAFE"
Hold the correct button combination for 2 seconds
Note the code that appears on the display (e.g. V123456 or M1234)
Enter the code when placing your order
The Fiesta Mk8 with SYNC 3 has no radio code — this system does not use codes
If "SAFE" appears on the display, wait 1 hour with ignition on
